How can I set Hybrid Crossfire on EMX-AMD780G-Pro?
Hybrid Crossfire Application
Platform Configuration: 1. RS780G (EMX-AMD780G-Pro) Motherboard. 2. ATI HD2400 or HD3450 Graphics Card (Lowest configuration Graphics Card) 3. AMD CPU, MEMORY, HDD. 4. Windows Vista 32 bit (only Vista 32bit has driver at present). Setting Steps: 1. Power On the system. 2. Enter CMOS Setup and choose “IGFX-GFX0-GPP-PCI” as the “Primary Video Controller” at "Advanced / NorthBridge Configuration / RS780 Configuration". 3. Save CMOS Setup and power off, insert ATI HD2400 / HD3450 graphics card into PCIE16X slot. 4. Power on and enter into Windows Vista 32Bit Edition, install 8.457 RC3 hybrid crossfire driver (link: http://www.emaxxtech.com/products.php?id=8) and reboot. 5. Open ATI Catalyst Control Center, choose “Crossfire” option and check “Enable Crossfire” box on the right. 6. A window “Enabling Crossfire” will pop out informing us that “By enabling Crossfire, any display devices connected to the regular adapter will be automatically disabled”, just click “Yes” to complete Crossfire setting. 7. Hybrid Crossfire is now enabled. Note: 1. Only Windows Vista 32bit version has Hybrid Crossfire Driver. Back to FAQ List |
